Dutch Oven Turkey
1 Turkey
8 to 10 strips of bacon
Start your fire 20 -30 minutes before so you will have good coals
In a well oiled #12 DO put 8 to 10 strips of bacon in the bottom.
Place the turkey in breast side up put lid on and set the DO on a bed of hot coals
Place more coals in the top of the DO
You will need to add coals 2 or 3 times
Cook for 20 min. per # if you keep the heat good and hot
