Skeet Shooting
Kenny is shooting skeet for the first time! He is a natural shot and did a really good job. He is using a double barrel 410 shotgun...that is just about his size.
Here is Simone shooting. She is using a single shot 410. She wasn't really impressed with the skeet shooting. She does OK, but "it is not really her thing". She likes to shoot her slingshot much better. I like them to "know" how to handle a gun properly.

November Weather
Well, folks, it seems official, November is here and so is the Fall weather. We have had a few days of a bit of cold, but now it seems that it is here to stay. We have a nice fire going in the stove and all is warm in the house, but I just hate to see the weather change.
I do love the green of the spring and summer months and even the colors of the fall, but when the leaves start to come off the trees and leave nothing at all, it is sort of sad. Everything seems to change to a dull, monotone color.
The wind was blowing here something terrible yesterday and so the kids have dug out all the hats, gloves, scarves and coats and so the season begins, yet again. Kenny actually jumped out of his room this morning, all dressed in his ski mask, coat, and boots and scared the crud out of me...What is next for this season?
